Running across print, web and TV, the ads highlighted’s in-depth coverage and vast on-ground presence that offer the reader a front row seat to all that is happening in the world right now – whether it’s the nation’s leaders bickering over election strategy, or their favourite team huddling before a match. All summed up by the brand’s new proposition – ‘Get Closer To The News’.


The campaign delivered in spades, resulting in a spike in viewership. clocked a record 562 million users, beating Times Internet on election results day. The campaign helped cross over 100 million users, signalling a whopping 300% growth in just over two years.
